Little utopian house 2000-03

French artist Jean Michel Alberola was born in Algeria in 1953. In Japan, he has participated in the Echigo-Tsumari Art Triennial since its launch in 2000 where he created Little Utopian House and in 2009 screened his first documentary video. His current show, billed as the second chapter of the exhibition he first held in 2006 at the Hermes Foundation gallery La Verrière in Brussels, features new wall paintings along with sculptural works shown at the first edition.
